The role supports the ongoing FMC treasury transformation program and associated OFSAA integration activities, which are critical to the treasury operating model, controls, and regulatory reporting landscape. It requires close day-to-day engagement with TGM, Operations, Finance, Risk, vendors, and multiple internal technology teams during active transformation and stabilization phases. Given the high level of stakeholder interaction, criticality of treasury processes, and need for rapid coordination and decision-making, the role is required to be onsite in UAE.
This is a specialized transformation and domain-retention capability fully allocated to TGM and currently managed by vendor resources, however, given the continuity requirements of the program and the value of retaining this critical capability within the Bank, approval is sought to have the role permanently based.
This request is also aligned to the broader treasury technology workforce transition plan, under which treasury technology headcount is planned to reduce from 23 FTE to 20 FTE through replacement of legacy T24 support activities and movement of select support functions into the Flexcube support structure. Given the role criticality and niche skillset required, the request is to allow for hiring in the UAE and not restrict the vacancy to UAE Nationals only.
