The selected candidate will manage aircraft financing transactions and related funding activities, supporting the Groups broader financing strategy through deal execution, capital market issuances, and ongoing financial oversight of the fleet.

In This Role, You Will

• Independently manage aircraft financing projects by overseeing end-to-end financing mandates, conducting contract negotiations, and ensuring timely closure to secure funding availability.
• Review and monitor financing risks by identifying and mitigating potential issues related to unfulfilled commitments, ensuring financing is available when required.
• Provide senior-level support to the VP Financing by building and maintaining relationships with financiers, and investors, including preparing and presenting operational and financial reviews to credit committees.
• Negotiate export credit and guarantee terms by structuring and securing favourable agreements with Export Credit Agencies.
• Evaluate and manage long-term financing risks by assessing funding availability, interest rate, and currency risks, recommending mitigation strategies, and advising on accounting treatments and financial disclosures.
• Support corporate finance functions by conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations on major projects, capital market transactions, and strategic funding initiatives.
• Optimise the Groups capital structure and provide cost effective global financing solutions through strategic planning, debt structuring, and financial reporting.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be a qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA with post graduate qualification in accountancy or airline management.
• Hold professional experience in finance within a large corporation or financial institution, including managing a finance team and preferably within a commercial treasury department.
  
  

Youll Have An Edge If You Have

• Knowledge of state-of-the-art aircraft financing structures preferred.
• Expert knowledge of project Management, strong networking abilities, and strong presentation skills are required.
