About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Manager – Retail Accounting to join the resort’s Finance team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for retail stores, including inventory, accounts receivable, revenue, and expense tracking
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Oversee reconciliation of inventory transactions, cost of goods sold, vendor billing discrepancies and shrinkage across all retail locations
• Collaborate with store operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure financial data integrity
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the retail division
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for retail operations
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal audit teams during financial reviews
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in retail accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within retail or consumer goods
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, retail operations, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within retail or consumer goods
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, retail operations, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
