As a Manager - Passenger Revenue Services, your role is to lead the end-to-end Passenger Revenue Accounting function, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely recognition of passenger revenue in full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards. The successful candidate will also maintain robust financial controls across Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reporting to safeguard financial integrity.
In This Role, You Will
Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of passenger revenue processes, driving automation, standardisation, and enhanced controls to improve efficiency and support scalable growth.
Manage end to end passenger revenue accounting, ensuring accurate and timely processing, mitigating revenue dilution, and maintaining key Balance Sheet and P&L components including liabilities, receivables, commissions, and discounts.
Lead interline billing, accounting and commercial arrangements in line with IATA guidelines, enabling key initiatives such as code share agreements and charter operations.
Lead the Centralised Refunds function and oversee approvals for refunds, incentives, commissions, and interline payments, ensuring compliance, contract accuracy, and timely settlements.
Drive successful implementation and governance of revenue and order accounting systems, ensuring data integrity, efficient process evolution, and alignment with IFRS and strategic commercial initiatives.
Provide strong leadership and people development, manage departmental performance and budgets, foster cross functional collaboration, and represent Emirates in industry/IATA forums to influence and support future revenue reporting standards.
Safeguard Emirates revenue by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely revenue information, and overseeing interline and agency receivables/payables to protect commercial interests.
Qualification
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Bachelors level qualification in a related field, preferably within Finance or equivalent, Masters level qualification would be an asset.
10+ years in Revenue Accounting
Youll Have An Edge If You Have
Revenue accounting experience in an airline.
Experience in controlling significant accounting processes, large diverse teams, workflow management and large systems projects.
Advanced knowledge of Passenger fares and ticketing, Proration principles, Industry interline processes and billing mechanisms, BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) reporting, refund and settlement processes.
Strong understanding of applicable industry resolutions and evolving standards, including the transition to Modern Airline Retailing.
