Job Description

The purpose of the Model and Analysis Team is to provide a Group Wide oversight on the Banking Book Asset Liability Management (ALM), specifically Liquidity Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), Funds Transfer Pricing and the regulatory/Basel compliance in the ALM domain.

The Unit is responsible for measuring, monitoring and formulating limit framework for the Banking Book liquidity and IRRBB; FTP methodology, Business engagement & implementation, Regulatory compliance on Liquidity, IRRBB including LCR, NSFR, IRRBB – EVE, ALM Model ownership, development, implementation & policy integration.

This Manager Manager, ALM Model & Analysis is responsible for managing the ALM Model lifecycle & ALM analysis to meet regulatory, analytical and control needs across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop/ maintain ALM Model for liquidity & IRRBB risk and FTP models in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible to execute tasks required by the Model Owner in the overall Model Governance i.e. coordinate & ensure delivery by all stakeholders of the Model management process
• Engagement with Model Users, Model Validators (internal / external), regulators & internal stakeholders
• Maintain the models, perform back-testing, calibrate (as required), produce model reports & manage exceptions.
• Group-wide model development & ownership role and necessary alignment with international entities.
• Support the ALM System (various Modules such as Static / LCR/ NSFR/ IRRBB etc.) with respect to model & methodology implementation and analysis
• Execute special analytics, scenarios to facilitate ALM policy & decision making
• Engagement with IT, ALM System vendor & internal (business / finance) stakeholders
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• Statistical & Data Management qualifications
• Experience in Model Development & Data Management
• Experience in ALM Model development
• Experience in Banking industry
• Preferred Regional experience
• Exposure to Treasury, Risk, Treasury-Finance
• Strong knowledge of Statistical & modelling methodologies
• Knowledge of programming techniques & tools e.g. SAS, Phyton, R,
• Strong Data Management & Analytical capabilities
• Strong ALM functional understanding
