Job Description

The Manager - Marketplace plays a critical role in overseeing and driving the success of digital marketplaces by ensuring both customer and partner satisfaction. This role requires a strategic mindset, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across various teams within an organization. As a marketplace manager, you will be responsible for the planning, launching, and optimization of marketplace initiatives. Your main objective is to enhance the shopping experience for customers while achieving sales targets and growth opportunities for partners. You will analyze marketplace metrics, assess competitors, and implement best practices to ensure competitiveness and drive growth. Excellent communication, management, and analytical skills are essential to thrive in this dynamic role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize marketplace performance and growth.
  • Oversee the daily operations of digital marketplaces, ensuring seamless functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in marketplace tools and technologies, such as CRM and CMS systems.
  • In-depth understanding of market trends and consumer behavior in the digital space.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
