Job Description

The Manager - Marketplace 10N25 is a pivotal leadership role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and driving the growth of our marketplace platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of the e-commerce landscape who can lead teams to optimize platform performance, enhance user experience, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a knack for problem-solving and the ability to pivot strategies based on market research and data analysis. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact the success of the marketplace by developing and executing strategies that align with the company's business goals while ensuring a seamless experience for both sellers and buyers on the platform.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketplace strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance platform performance and user experience.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Optimize listing processes and tools to improve seller engagement and participation.
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key marketplace partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to develop and implement platform features and enhancements.
  • Manage marketplace budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and ROI maximization.
  • Drive initiatives to increase buyer engagement and conversion rates effectively.
  • Ensure platform compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain platform reliability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present marketplace performance reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • At least five years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using market research tools and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth.
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis in a business environment.
