Contract Manager – International Business Contracts

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of complex customer, supplier, and third-party agreements. This role is responsible for protecting commercial interests, mitigating contractual risk, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Working closely with commercial, legal, finance, procurement, and project teams, you will lead contract negotiations, manage contract administration activities, and provide expert commercial and contractual guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer, supplier, and partner contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements, including NDAs, Teaming, Licensing, Supply, and Services Agreements.
  • Review RFQs, RFPs, and customer requirements to identify obligations, risks, and commercial considerations.
  • Support business, program, and project teams during pre-award and post-award phases.
  • Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Manage amendments, change requests, variation orders, and claims, evaluating impacts on scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, providing practical recommendations.
  • Support dispute resolution and contract-related issue management.
  • Maintain contract documentation and records in accordance with compliance, quality, and information security requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, auditors, and partners.
  • Mentor and support contract team members while promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration, Law (LLB), or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in contract management within public or private sector organizations.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and risk management.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree (MBA, Law, Contract Management, or related discipline).
  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas industries.
  • Knowledge of international commercial law, trade regulations, and compliance requirements.
