Job Description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Manager - Interface to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all interface activities across large-scale infrastructure projects. You will serve as the critical link between multiple project teams, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a decisive leader with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to organize complex project interfaces efficiently.
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive interface control documentation and specifications for infrastructure projects
- Coordinate and facilitate interface meetings between project teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to identify and resolve conflicts
- Analyze interface requirements and dependencies across multiple project disciplines and work streams
- Monitor interface status and track resolution of interface issues, ensuring timely closure and documentation
- Prepare detailed interface reports and management plans that outline responsibilities, schedules, and deliverables
- Manage interface change control processes and assess the impact of changes on project scope, schedule, and budget
- Establish and enforce interface protocols and procedures to ensure consistency across all project activities
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to integrate interface management into overall project planning and execution
- Identify potential interface risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or conflicts
- Maintain organized records of all interface agreements, approvals, and communications for project documentation
- Provide leadership and guidance to interface coordination teams and support personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure project management or related field
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in interface management or interface coordination roles
- Proven experience managing interfaces on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure project delivery processes and best practices
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex interface issues
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across diverse teams
- Experience with vendor and contractor management
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical documentation and specifications
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Understanding of engineering and construction processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
