About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking Manager – Hotel Accounting to join the resort’s Finance team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel accounting department
• Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of daily operation report and monthly closing report
• Participate in reviewing and preparing accounts reconciliation
• Coordinate with other departments and handle queries related to Hotel Accounting
• Assume duties assigned by the Hotel Accounting - Assistant Director and other senior Finance Leadership
• Oversee training and supervision of Hotel Accounting Team Members
• Delegate specific tasks to Team Members
• Coach, motivate, counsel and evaluate staff and encourage their participation in decision-making
• Maintain effective communication with all team members by providing written and verbal translations
• Ensure that the subordinates are well-mannered and groomed as per company standard at all times
• Promote a work environment where team members feel valued, appreciated, involved, equally important and safe
• Attend regular briefing and scheduled inter-departmental meetings to ensure relevant information is shared
• Interact with department and company team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively
• Attend department and inter-department meetings and share relevant information
• Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications
• Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct
• Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in accounting
• Over 5 years experiences related field in Hotel industry in Supervisory level or Manager level.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to work independently
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Good communication and supervisory skills

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in accounting
• Over 5 years experiences related field in Hotel industry in Supervisory level or Manager level.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to work independently
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Good communication and supervisory skills
