Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this managerial role, based in Dubai, is to lead and manage the Group’s tax compliance and reporting framework across multiple active jurisdictions. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant submission of corporate tax returns and statutory filings, oversees tax audits, and maintains robust transfer pricing documentation for inter-company transactions. The position requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors to manage tax risks and support governance across the Group.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

• Lead and manage corporate tax, VAT, and zakat compliance activities across the Group’s entities.

• Review and approve periodic tax returns, reconciliations, and filings to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

• Manage tax audits, assessments, and inquiries, including preparation and coordination of documentation and responses.

• Partner with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of tax-related data.

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal tax controls, procedures, and risk registers.

• Own and maintain the Group tax calendar, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met to avoid penalties.

• Coordinate with external tax advisors and consultants for technical opinions, filings, and regulatory matters.

• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and review intercompany transactions for compliance and consistency.

• Support process improvement initiatives, including automation and system enhancements within the tax compliance function.

• Prepare and present tax compliance status reports, risk updates, and audit outcomes to senior management.

• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess potential impacts on the Group’s entities and operations.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering capability development within the tax function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent strongly preferred.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, audits, and advisory, preferably within a holding company or diversified group structure.

• Strong working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and zakat regulations, with multi-entity exposure.

• Proven experience in managing tax audits, regulatory interactions, and transfer pricing documentation.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.

• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
