About the Job 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager F&B to join Amara Lounge-Service in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Coordinate organizational and administrative functions across the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring adherence to Jumeirah standards and objectives, and disseminate departmental goals to colleagues.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual business and sales plans, monitor the profitability of F&B outlets, and provide solutions for improvement while ensuring each outlets profitability.
  • Aid in the development of ideas to increase F&B sales productivity, plan and implement effective sales and promotional activities, and identify market needs and trends for both Resort guests and the local market.
  • Contribute to building an efficient team through training, development, safety, and welfare initiatives, and participate in training programs to improve personal and departmental standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and discipline to colleagues, maintain appropriate records of education and training, and ensure staffing levels and competence are sufficient to meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines, and conduct regular checks and audits to maintain hospitality standards.

 

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar leadership role within hospitality, ideally in a hotel or upscale dining environment. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong operational knowledge of restaurants, bars, and banquet operations, with a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams while maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism. 
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and achieving revenue targets.
