Job Description

Drive through the achievement of delegate numbers and sales revenue targets Continue to build strong relationships with current and potential clients both pre and post event

Effectively convert and up sell inquiries into sales

Provide ongoing constructive feedback to the marketing team

Achievement of sales revenue/profit targets

Number of calls made per day and Time of call duration

Effective co-ordination with production and marketing

Growth of existing portfolio by generating new leads

Up selling and cross selling of companies and events

Continually monitor and research the market to increase market knowledge

Identify competitive events and familiarize with competitor events

Database clean and build

Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility

Completion of weekly sales reports and daily updates of the daily planner

Provide event feedback to production and marketing on a regular basis

Daily monitor of team’s sales performance

Budget management and control to ensure achievement of revenue and NOP targets

Implement key account strategy and program

Effective management of sales agents and national associations networks

Provide leadership and training to the Sales team

Qualifications And Skills

Formal qualification in a business, and or sales management degree or related disciplines.

Strong Sales, Interpersonal And Negotiating Skills Required.

A minimum of 5/6 years sales experience in the exhibitions industry and the ability to remain updated on the latest industry market knowledge.

Effective communication at all levels internally and externally
