Key Responsibility:

  • He will assist the HOBD with acquiring suitable properties and provide an internal property consultancy service.
  • will also liaise with Ops Team, advising them on property developments and markets to establish property requirements for the brand Requirements
  • in response to landlord-offered sites and Business requirements, as well as on own initiative.
  • Further recommendations on leasing premises in consultation with HOBD, Regional Development Managers and Business Managers.
  • Conclude lease negotiations at acceptable/Market-related levels through research/relationships with landlords, developers, and other brands in local centres and Property professionals.
  • Assist in preparing and concluding formalities, attending to the legal signature, and processing and disseminating agreements.
  • Request payment of monies due under the Terms of the Leases and propose action in case of changes.
  • Establish and maintain a Lease records database.
  • Negotiate acceptable rental levels and all lease terms before issuing to Management.
  • Monitor and action payments due under the Terms of the Lease Agreements.
  • Decide on the format and information to be inputted to create/maintain the lease records database.

Qualification & Skill :

  • A property qualification (Chartered Surveyor or similar)
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in property management/ negotiation specific to retail.
  • One year’s experience in leasing
  • Legal training desirable
  • Good communication skills in English/Arabic
  • Valid driving license
