Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting revenue growth and market expansion within the domestic defense sector. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and contributing to successful bid execution across key domains such as Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, and Space & Cyber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with organizational growth targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within the domestic defense market.
  • Support the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and proposals.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and track defense sector trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government entities and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical, product, and commercial teams to align solutions with client needs.
  • Contribute to bid strategy, pricing inputs, and proposal development.
  • Track opportunity progress, pipeline status, and provide regular reporting updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in business development, preferably within defense, aerospace, or engineering sectors.
  • Exposure to bidding and proposal processes is preferred.
  • Understanding of defense market dynamics and procurement processes is an advantage.
