Job Description

As a Manager of Account Management, you will play a pivotal role in steering our account management team towards success. This position is key in both nurturing existing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction, while also expanding our reach and fostering new potential business opportunities. Your leadership will be essential in managing day-to-day operations, resolving any major issues, and ensuring the team meets their performance goals. You will work closely with other departments to align strategies and implement best practices that drive growth and profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional people management skills, adept at negotiations and building long-lasting client relationships. Experience in account management is vital, alongside a proven track record of managing and mentoring a successful team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the account management team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to boost customer engagement and profitability.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major account-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitate new business opportunities by identifying potential leads and expansion areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on client strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure client needs and business objectives are met.
  • Mentor and provide training to team members to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop proactive strategies.
  • Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance team efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years experience in account management or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a high-performing team effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in leveraging CRM software and other business management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
