Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with tools and expertise.
• Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed for future reference.
• Coordinate with facility management and report critical issues that need higher-level attention.
• Test and analyze the performance of systems, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Order parts, materials, and supplies as required to maintain inventory and ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and health standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to plan maintenance activities.
• Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to reduce production downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a maintenance technician role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and timely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document and report findings.
