Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of the maintenance staff effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and enforce maintenance schedules to ensure equipment remains operational and reliable.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on all facility systems and equipment.
• Analyze equipment needs, prepare budgetary estimates, and seek management approval.
• Communicate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repair services.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills and job performance.

• Investigate maintenance-related incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

• Manage the inventory of parts, tools, and equipment to support maintenance operations.
• Coordinate special projects and equipment installations in collaboration with project teams.
• Provide regular status reports to management regarding maintenance operations and challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a similar industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent leadership and human resource management skills to handle a diverse team.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software for scheduling and inventory.
• Strong communication skills for both verbal and written, necessary for reporting.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards and practices.
• Certification in a trade or facility management would be advantageous.
