Job Description

The Maintenance Project Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, tasked with the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance projects. This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, leadership, and administrative skills to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from routine maintenance tasks to complex, large-scale projects. Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and management, are crucial in this role. The Maintenance Project Manager plays a vital role in optimizing operations and ensuring the longevity and efficiency of the organization's physical assets.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of maintenance projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and detailed plans for each project.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives within defined timeframes.
  • Ensure maintenance projects comply with safety and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
  • Assess and allocate resources effectively to optimize project execution.
  • Conduct risk management analysis to minimize potential project setbacks.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and briefings to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships with service providers.
  • Review and approve project deliverables, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management or project management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance processes, systems, and technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
