Job Description

The Maintenance Project Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and coordinating various maintenance projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a dynamic and highly organized individual who can lead a team of maintenance professionals, manage resources efficiently, and liaise with different departments to facilitate smooth project execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance project management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The Maintenance Project Manager will also ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards while achieving company objectives. With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, this role contributes significantly to the maintenance and operational excellence of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee maintenance projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute projects.
  • Develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to them.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout projects.
  • Lead and motivate the maintenance team to achieve project goals effectively.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management on project status, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements in maintenance processes.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or project management.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple maintenance projects successfully.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Trello.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in maintenance.
