Maintenance Assistant (225-1008)

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall upkeep and efficiency of our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining equipment, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, and assisting with various repair tasks. You will work closely with the maintenance team to enhance the life expectancy of equipment and ensure that operational downtime is minimized. Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Support the maintenance team with daily facility inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Help in the preparation and cleanup of work areas before and after maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and report issues promptly.
• Prioritize work requests and follow a scheduled maintenance plan efficiently.

• Ensure that maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and returned.
• Assist in managing inventory of maintenance supplies and reordering as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields is preferred.
