The Logistics Supervisor 11N25 is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of the logistics functions within our organization. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee the logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation, ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing a team of logistics personnel, and ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of the logistics team, ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize distribution and transportation.
  • Coordinate with warehousing, distribution, and transportation teams to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor logistics operations and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage the logistics budget, focusing on scale and cost-efficiency strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training to logistics personnel.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics service providers.
  • Implement systems for tracking and reporting on key logistics performance metrics.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Supervise the import/export activities and ensure proper documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to synchronize logistical activities seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with experience in team supervision.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and manage operational challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and management tools for operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
