Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Supervisor (08J26) to join our growing team. The individual in this role will manage the operations of our logistics department, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods. The Logistics Supervisor will lead a team of staff and work closely with various departments to optimize logistical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. They will also be responsible for streamlining our supply chain operations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement the logistics strategy to meet organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation and distribution of goods to customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of stock.
  • Ensure all logístical activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies for smooth operations.
  • Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of logistics staff to ensure high performance.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics service providers effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports regarding logistics operations.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for improvement in logistics.
  • Implement safety measures and risk management strategies for logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics processes.
  • Proficient in logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory management.
