Job Description

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chains, coordinating the transportation of goods, and managing inventory levels to meet company demands efficiently. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations to ensure timely product deliveries.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve logistics-related issues efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to logistics processes and transactions.
  • Analyze and report logistics data to improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Negotiate transportation and warehousing rates to reduce logistics costs.
  • Oversee the maintenance and efficient routing of the transportation fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in logistics operations.
  • Communicate operational issues and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with company goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in logistics tasks.
  • Proficiency in logistics software systems and inventory management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective supplier and team interaction.
  • Ability to analyze data and create detailed logistics reports and forecasts.
  • Problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges proactively.
  • Understanding of logistics regulations and compliance standards.
