The Project

Mace is delivering a major expansion programme in Dubai, transforming a flagship development into a world-leading events and exhibitions destination.

We are seeking a logistics manager to support the senior logistics manager, with a strong focus on site-based delivery and contractor coordination. The role will work closely with contractors, construction teams and project stakeholders to ensure logistics plans are effectively implemented across the site.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting the senior logistics manager in the implementation of the overall project logistics strategy.
• Taking a hands-on role in the day-to-day management of site logistics activities.
• Coordinating closely with main contractors, subcontractors and project teams to ensure logistics requirements are understood and implemented.
• Monitoring contractor logistics performance on site and challenging non-compliance where required.
• Managing and coordinating site access, delivery routes, loading and unloading areas, laydown areas, material storage and movement.
• Coordinating vehicle and material movements to minimise disruption and maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Reviewing contractor logistics plans, method statements and delivery proposals.
• Coordinating logistics interfaces between multiple contractors and work packages operating simultaneously across the site.
• Supporting the management of temporary roads, hoarding, gates, welfare facilities, site compounds and other temporary logistics infrastructure.
• Undertaking regular site inspections and identifying logistics risks, constraints and potential clashes.
• Working with construction teams to resolve site logistics issues quickly and practically.
• Supporting short and medium-term logistics planning in line with the construction programme and upcoming works.
• Coordinating with health and safety teams to ensure logistics activities comply with project requirements and safe working practices.
• Producing logistics updates, reports and look-ahead information for the senior logistics Manager and wider project team.
• Supporting mobilisation and demobilisation activities as construction packages progress.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with contractors and ensuring agreed logistics actions are closed out.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Previous experience in a site-based construction logistics management role on major projects.
• Strong experience coordinating main contractors and multiple subcontractors within complex construction environments.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, site operations and logistics interfaces.
• Practical experience managing site access, deliveries, traffic movements, laydown and storage areas.
• Strong knowledge of construction health, safety and logistics requirements.
• Ability to interpret construction programmes and translate upcoming activities into practical logistics requirements.
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach with the confidence to resolve issues directly on site.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing contractor requirements.
• Previous UAE experience would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant degree or construction/logistics qualification preferred.
• Sound knowledge of project controls, safety, and sector-specific standards.
