About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Logistics Manager - GCC & Africa, Pulses for one of the leading Agri-Commodities MNCs in India.

Job Purpose

The role manages end-to-end logistics for raw materials and finished goods, including cross-border trade execution, shipping documentation, and contract compliance across the GCC and Africa. It oversees imports, storage, and shipments from regional plants, ensuring efficient movement and regulatory compliance in all operating regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Planning & Execution: Develop strategies, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and coordinate suppliers, transporters, and warehouses.
• Transportation & Distribution: Negotiate/manage freight contracts, optimize routes/schedules, and oversee customs compliance.
• Warehouse & Inventory: Supervise storage and dispatch, ensure accurate inventory control, and implement best practices.
• Cost & Process Optimization: Analyze expenses, adopt automation/technology, and track performance through KPIs.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure legal/safety compliance, maintain accurate records, and stay updated on trade regulations.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and review logistics staff; coordinate with procurement, sales, and production teams.
