The Logistics Inventory Support position, code 25D25, is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of a company's supply chain. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
  • Use inventory management software to track and log all inventory movements and transactions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
  • Identify and address discrepancies in inventory counts and near expiry dates.
  • Analyze sales forecasts and adjust inventory levels to meet demand fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory operations.
  • Support the logistics team in the development and execution of inventory-related projects.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports and analysis to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory control and logistics support role.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail needed.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and methodology is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle various tasks.
