Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with company objectives and goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee the shipment, transportation, and distribution of goods efficiently.
  • Manage and lead a team of logistics personnel to ensure high performance and motivation.
  • Analyze logistics operations to identify areas for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or overstocking.
  • Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers to optimize services and costs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics activities and supply chain disruptions.
  • Use advanced analytics tools to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance and KPIs to management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation in logistics processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex logistical challenges.
  • Proficient in logistics software and tools with excellent data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills to develop and mentor a high-performing logistics team.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain regulations and compliance requirements.
