Job Description

As a Logistics Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company. You will ensure the efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods, materials, and services from suppliers to our clients, enhancing productivity and accuracy. Your responsibilities will include managing logistics, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and delivery. You will use your knowledge and skills to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and communicating effectively with suppliers, couriers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the seamless movement of our products. Your ability to plan, organize, and manage various logistics operations will be pivotal in meeting customer expectations and optimizing our company's logistical capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Develop transportation plans that minimize costs while meeting delivery timeframes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and update inventory management systems accurately.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer service practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance for management.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics providers and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics partners.
  • Manage warehouse operations and implement best practices to optimize storage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing processes.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
