Responsibilities

  • Oversee the storage and distribution of goods to maintain timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory and shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies during shipments.
  • Evaluate and optimize logistics costs through negotiation with vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyze supply chain data and assist in performance evaluation and improvements.
  • Respond promptly to any shipment or logistics issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain logistics partnerships to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Provide logistics support during emergencies and manage any unforeseen disruptions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to keep them updated on logistics and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations related to logistics.
