Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in the supply chain of our organization, ensuring that products are efficiently moved from point A to point B. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the logistics process to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistical strategies that optimize cost and time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipping and receiving.
  • Liaise and communicate with suppliers, freight companies, and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Analyze transportation and warehousing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to avoid stockouts.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international and local logistics regulations.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics providers to enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipping or receiving to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings on logistics performance metrics.
  • Implement health and safety procedures within the logistics operations to minimize risk.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to address client queries and complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics management or supply chain coordination is necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and technology platforms is highly desirable.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to tackle logistical challenges.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
