Job Description

As a Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and products through the supply chain process. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the logistics operations such as inventory management, shipment coordination, and warehouse activities to ensure the seamless and efficient movement of products. You will liaise with vendors, shipping services, and internal teams to optimize supply chain performance. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and an ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all logistical operations are conducted smoothly, safely, and cost-effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily logistics and warehouse operations effectively and efficiently.
  • Supervise inventory management, including maintaining stocks and monthly inventory counts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders to clients and customers worldwide.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and freight forwarders for transport agreements.
  • Implement safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to meet logistic requirements and objectives.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Prepare and assist in the creation and analysis of logistics reports and data.
  • Develop and optimize logistics workflows and systems for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the training and development of warehouse staff to enhance performance.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all tools are in good working order.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities within the organization to support logistics needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in logistics or warehouse management roles for at least 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle urgent logistical issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
