The Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations and activities of a warehouse facility. This role involves coordinating logistics, inventory management, and the efficient distribution of goods. The coordinator will ensure seamless warehouse operations by managing shipment processes, optimizing storage solutions, and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and processes.

  • Supervise and provide training to warehouse staff for performance optimization.
  • Resolve any logistical issues and discrepancies that arise during daily operations.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to assess performance and drive improvements.
  • Manage budgets for logistics operations and adhere to financial targets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and functioning properly to prevent delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics or warehouse operations management is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for team coordination.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and logistics applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance in warehouse settings.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills to manage and motivate staff.
