Your Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Local Division Manager to lead Electrification Services (ELSE) operations across the UAE& Oman. In this strategic role, you will oversee country operations, drive profitable business growth, and implement global strategies locally. You will lead a multi-level organization, manage P&L accountability, and ensure service excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus. This is a hands-on leadership position where strategic vision meets operational excellence.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Services in {UAE}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Implementing global strategy in the local market while providing input to regional strategy. Develop and execute business growth plans for domestic and allocated markets, ensuring alignment with global Product Group objectives.
• Owning complete P&L accountability for ELSE operations. Drive profitable growth, establish performance targets aligned with global metrics, and oversee regular achievement reviews with corrective actions.
• Building and implementing service strategies, ensure consistent delivery standards, and execute high-quality products and services. Monitor quality metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and oversee quality enhancement initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers. Evaluate market opportunities, decide on strategic activities, and drive customer satisfaction metrics. Support sales efforts and ensure market competitiveness.
• Leading a multi-level organization (direct and indirect reports) ensuring proper structure, staffing, and skill development. Guide, motivate, and develop talent. Create high-performing teams accountable for business results.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Implement process improvements, develop new service offerings, and invest in capability enhancement. Ensure HSE compliance and sustainability standards throughout the organization.
• Overseeing execution of key projects ensuring alignment with schedule, quality, financial targets, and customer satisfaction outcomes.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
• Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent advanced business qualification
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in service management, operations, or business leadership
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving profitable growth
• Proven track record in leading multi-level organizations with both direct and indirect reports
• Solid understanding of operational excellence, quality management, HSE, and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with ABB products, services, or business models as well as a solid background in regional or international business operations
• Strategic thinker with focus on long-term planning and sustainable business development
• Strong organizational leadership capabilities with clear emphasis on developing people and building high-performing teams
