A bit about us:

A well-established Sarasota law firm is seeking a motivated Plaintiff Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its insurance litigation team. This role focuses on first-party and third-party insurance matters, advocating for policyholders in disputes involving coverage, bad faith, and related claims. Former defense and plaintiff-side attorneys are both encouraged to apply.

Job Details

Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side insurance matters from intake through resolution

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery

Depose parties and experts; attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Evaluate case value, liability, and strategy throughout the litigation process

Communicate consistently with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

Contribute to a positive, accountable in-office culture

J.D. from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar

2–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or plaintiff experience strongly preferred)

Strong writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative in-office setting

Client-centered mindset with a commitment to high-quality representation
