Lifting Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating lifting activities on site to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility

• Supervise lifting operations to ensure they are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement lifting plans in coordination with the project team.
• Conduct pre-job meetings to review lifting requirements and safety procedures with the lifting team.
• Inspect lifting equipment regularly and ensure that it is in good working condition.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to lifting operations.
• Investigate and report any incidents or near misses related to lifting activities.
• Provide training and guidance to lifting team members on best practices and safety protocols.
  
  

• Proven experience working as a Lifting Supervisor or a similar role in a construction or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, techniques, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in lifting operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Certification in rigging and lifting operations would be an advantage.
