Legal Counsel

Our client is a blockchain and Web3 ecosystem group headquartered in Dubai is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its expanding international operations.

The organization operates across venture capital, startup incubation, blockchain technology, fintech, gaming, and digital platforms, working with early-stage and scaling projects globally. The environment is fast-paced, high-growth, and closely aligned with innovation at the forefront of the Web3 industry.

Salary: AED 18,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate governance, contracts, and general commercial matters
• Work closely with senior leadership on day-to-day legal issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct legal research and provide clear legal opinions and recommendations
• Support cross-functional teams including finance, investments, marketing, media, and gaming
• Assist with regulatory matters related to fintech, blockchain, and digital assets

Requirements

• Law degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience in a law firm or in-house role
• Exposure to fintech, blockchain, Web3, investments, or digital assets (UAE experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of:

• Contract law
• Corporate law
• Intellectual property
• Regulatory compliance & governance
• Excellent English drafting and communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
• Proactive, commercially aware, and detail-oriented
• Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
