Job Description

Glovo keeps growing day after day , thats why we are looking for a hands-on Lawyer that will work with the local and HQ Legal Team of the company on managing the day to day implications in the business in Romania.

Have a 360º role, providing legal support to all departments of the business in Romania.

• Assess and advice on the launch of new verticals, projects, commercial activities and operations challenges
• Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with the regulations applicable to Glovo’s business (including privacy, labor, compliance, regulated products and others)
• Review, analyses, negotiate and draft all kind of contracts with all the players involved in the business
• Other Glovo countries like Moldova will also be included in the candidate’s scope.
• Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm and/or Big4. Proven experience on contractual and regulatory matters.
• Experience in other fields of law (labor and data protection), and engaging directly with authorities is a plus (ANCOM, ANPC, RCC).
• You speak Romanian and you have an advanced level of English (speaking and drafting).
• Bachelor of Laws in Romania or in a European country which can be validated in Romania.
• Highly motivated in the world of new technologies.
• Problem solver, Multitasking, Thinking out of the box, Organized and detail-oriented person.
• High energy and creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a growing and changing environment
