About the Quality & Risk Service Line

Our Quality & Risk team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm’s compliance, ethical standards, and risk‑management frameworks. We ensure that client engagements comply with regulatory, legal, and internal quality requirements while supporting our teams with clear, practical guidance. This includes oversight of legal documentation, risk assessments, conflict checks, policy development, and continuous enhancement of governance processes.

As an Associate some of your responsibilities will include:

Contract & Legal Documentation Support

  • Review and assist in drafting, negotiating, and maintaining legal documents, including:

    ·        Master Service Agreements (MSAs)

    ·        Subcontractor agreements

    ·        Engagement letters

    ·        NDAs and confidentiality agreements

    ·        Vendor contract
  • Conduct preliminary legal assessments on contract terms to identify risks, ambiguities, and compliance gaps
  • Assist in updating, standardizing, and improving contract templates and legal policies


Governance & Quality Support

  • Maintain and update trackers for legal documents, contract status, renewal dates, and pending reviews
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and version control for all legal and risk‑related documents
  • Support the Quality & Risk team in performing compliance checks, including conflict-of-interest reviews and due‑diligence processes
  • Support internal audits or regulatory reviews by providing required legal documentation


Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with engagement teams regarding contract requirements, status updates, and clarifications
  • Liaise with external counsel when required
  • Assist in preparing summaries, legal notes, and internal reports for management


 Research & Advisory

  • Conduct legal research on regulatory updates, contractual risks, and industry best practices
  • Support Quality & Risk in interpreting laws, regulations, and professional standards applicable to the firm’s operations


Administrative & Project Support

  • Assist in project planning, documentation management, and follow-ups for Quality & Risk initiatives
  • Help prepare presentations, internal guidelines, and process documentation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from a reputable university
  • At least two years of experience in legal, corporate, compliance, or contract management roles
  • Experience reviewing contracts or legal documents is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and basic risk concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain trackers and manage multiple documents simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to work proactively, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a multicultural environment
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
