Learning Assistant to support Visual Impairment.
Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Teaching Assistant with experience of working with students with a visual impairment to begin immediately.
You will join a dynamic and passionate team and will be responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.
This role will involve working one-to-one with a student with a visual impairment, providing direct support as required, including:
- Working in partnership with teachers in the planning of lessons including the adaptation of materials and direct support the student will need.
- Producing resources and ensuring they are available and utilised.
- Ensuring student safety when undertaking any physical activity, practical subjects and movement around the school building.
- Supporting educational visits.

- Experienced in working with visual impairments and braille.
- Able to quickly form positive working relationships with students and colleagues.
- Willing to support the ethos of the school.
Requirements
- Holds a relevant Bachelor’s degree or an EAL related qualification, such as a CELTA
- Has proficiency in English (ability to speak Spanish an advantage)
- Must be on a family visa
- Must be resident in Dubai
