Lead Tax Compliance And Audits

Job Summary:

The key duty of this leadership role, based in Dubai, is overseeing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all corporate tax returns and statutory filings across the Group’s active jurisdictions. The Lead also manages the documentation process for all tax audits and ensures strict compliance with complex transfer pricing regulations for inter-company transactions.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

• Oversee corporate tax, VAT, and zakat compliance across the group.
• Prepare and review periodic tax returns and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage tax audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and responses.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate tax data and record-keeping.
• Support development of internal tax controls and risk registers.
• Maintain a tax calendar and ensure timely filings to avoid penalties.
• Coordinate with external consultants for technical opinions and filings.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction reviews.
• Assist in implementing automation within the tax compliance process.
• Prepare compliance and audit status reports for senior management.
• Monitor legislative updates and assess implications for group entities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in tax compliance and audits, preferably in a holding or diversified group.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and zakat regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and audit coordination experience.
