Lead Architect

Black & Grey HR is hiring a Lead Architect on behalf of a leading contracting company in Dubai, UAE. This role is for a visionary leader who will not only manage but also set strategic direction for high-profile architectural projects from concept to completion. You will lead architectural design initiatives, drive technical excellence, and oversee a team of architects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and international quality standards.

You will act as the primary bridge between clients, engineers, and leadership, translating complex visions into built reality while mentoring junior talent and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities:- Lead architectural design projects from concept through construction completion.

• Collaborate with clients to define needs, goals, and tailored design solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including sketches, 3D models, and visualizations.
• Develop architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and design adherence.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and targets.
• Mentor and guide junior architects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure all designs comply with Dubai building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Support business development through proposals, client presentations, and strategic meetings.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of architectural experience, with 3+ years as a Lead Architect.- Proven track record in large-scale projects in UAE/GCC.
• Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Middle East building codes and sustainability practices.
• Leadership ability with team mentoring experience.
