What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years in a Luxury Hotel environment in the UAE.
• Pre-opening experience is Advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with setting up Housekeeping Operations from scratch.
• Previous experience in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-Rated properties will be Advantageous, demonstrating a Strong Commitment to Luxury Service Standards.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages are a Plus).
• Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook. An exceptional knowledge of Hotel PMS, specifically Opera is Advantageous.
• Next-Level Leadership skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to New Heights.
• Sensational Attention to Detail and a Passion for maintaining the Gold Standard of Cleanliness and Aesthetics.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the Hotel.
• A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’ Spirit.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors ‘FIVERs’ within the Laundry Department, encouraging them to work efficiently and effectively, and always upholding ‘FIVE-Star’ Luxury Standards.
• Confidently prepares assignments for the shift and Conducts Pre-Shift Meetings, ensuring that tasks are conducted according to the preset laundry schedule.
• Fosters a Next-Level approach to service and professionalism by Actively Participating in Management Training Programmes.
• Effectively assists the Laundry Manager in Achieving agreed Goals for the Department and for ‘FIVERs’ within the Laundry Team.
• Demonstrates a Commitment to Health and Safety by ensuring that the chemical storage is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Demonstrates Next-Level Leadership skills by training Fellow ‘FIVERs’ on daily operations.
• Uses Sensational Organisational Skills to Forecast room linen requirements based on occupancy and Coordinates with Venue Managers to understand the daily linen requirements to meet operational needs.
• Maintains control of Discards at all times, maintaining FIVEs Industry-Leading Commitment to Excellence.
• Applies ‘FIVE-Styled’ confidence to Supervise the daily activities of ‘FIVERs’ within the Laundry Department.
• Participates in periodic inventories of Uniforms, Linens and Supplies.
• Maintains the Highest Standards of Records of Uniforms issued to each Department.
