Last Mile Team Leader - Dubai Hub Night

Department: Operations/Warehouse

Location: Dubai South, UAE

Reports To: Domestic Operations Supervisor (once filled) / Shift Manager - Domestic in the interim

Key Responsibilities

Hub Operations

• Own Dubai Hub night operations, mirroring day-shift ownership across aging, dispatch, and floor management.
• Own forward and reverse aging overnight, ensuring all orders are cleared by the shift-end cutoff.
• Keep the floor clear and ensure all same-day and PDD orders are dispatched before shift close.
  
  

Team Management

• Manage the night debriefer and dispatcher, including staff attendance and shift management.
• Arrange drivers for overnight dispatch.
  
  

Tickets & Reporting

• Own night ticket management, including CS WhatsApp groups, escalations, and customer inquiries — resolved overnight rather than left for the morning team.
• Produce the night performance and CRA aging report and hand it directly to the day Team Leader.
• Conduct a formal morning handover (verbal and written) to the day Team Leader, covering open items and overnight incidents.
  
  

Issue Resolution

• Handle overnight delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints, escalating only what cannot be resolved on shift.
  
  

Your skills would include:

• Proven experience in last mile logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in an e-commerce or high-volume delivery environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, route planning tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
