As a Laboratory Technologist, you will ensure high-quality, accurate diagnostic testing that supports effective patient care, while contributing to the overall efficiency and excellence of laboratory operations. Through collaboration with Safety, Infection Control, clinicians, and nursing teams, this role aims to enhance clinical outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement across healthcare services.

In This Role, You Will

• Prepare samples for testing, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and freezing as needed and ensure appropriate packaging and transportation of samples to external laboratories and within internal Emirates Group facilities.
• Handle telephone and Emirates Group Medical Services (EGMS) mailbox queries from both patients and clinicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all laboratory activities in compliance with ISO 15189:2022 including calibrations and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules of non-analytical equipment, inventory and stock levels of supplies and reagents.
• Set up samples for analysis and point-of-care testing, manage sample loading, result entry, and validation, and monitor non-analytical laboratory equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• 4+ yrs experience as a Generalist Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
  
  

You Will Have An Edge If You Have

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting in UAE that is ISO 15189:2022 accredited is preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a medical laboratory technologist by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
• Proficiency in maintaining analytical and non-analytical equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
