Job Description

The Laboratory Technician 26N25 position is a vital role within our scientific research team, responsible for supporting experiments, conducting various tests, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental results and data.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and safety protocols at all times.
  • Manage and organize laboratory supplies and ensure they are adequately stocked.
  • Coordinate with senior researchers to optimize test procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct quality control measures to ensure the reliability of laboratory results.
  • Participate in research meetings and discuss findings with the research team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and technologies.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Train and provide guidance to junior laboratory staff and interns as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various research projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting findings.
  • Familiarity with laboratory health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
