Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise laboratory tests and ensure accuracy in all results.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to prescribed protocols.
• Document all experimental and test findings with precision and clarity.
• Develop and optimize standard operating procedures for all lab processes.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct research to develop or improve laboratory methods or procedures.
• Train and supervise junior laboratory staff and interns as necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage and prioritize lab projects.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in laboratory processes or equipment malfunctions.
• Manage inventory including ordering and restocking laboratory supplies efficiently.
• Prepare and handle specimens for testing ensuring contamination minimization.
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities regularly to uphold standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field required.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining modern laboratory equipment essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are mandatory for the role.
