Job Description
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and food preparation areas. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment; cleaning kitchen floors, walls, drains, and waste areas; and ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal. The role supports smooth kitchen operations by ensuring a continuous supply of clean equipment, assisting with basic kitchen tasks when required, and handling equipment safely. The Kitchen Steward strictly follows hygiene, health, and safety standards, operates cleaning machinery correctly, and works flexible shifts as per operational needs while supporting the culinary and service teams.
