Job Description

Job Summary-

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area and assisting in basic food preparation tasks.

Job Responsibility-

• Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Assist in food prep tasks such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Report any kitchen maintenance issues to the appropriate person.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
