Job Summary

IIQAF Group is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, ingredient handling, and general kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, organized, hygiene-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or hospitality kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meat, and other ingredients as instructed.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen workstations, counters, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, cookware, plates, and kitchen utensils.
• Assist with receiving, storing, labeling, and organizing food supplies and ingredients.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Follow portioning, preparation, and storage instructions.
• Check food items for freshness and report damaged or expired products.
• Support kitchen inventory and stock management when required.
• Follow company policies and instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient kitchen environment.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Steward, Restaurant Helper, Catering Assistant, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, catering, or hospitality environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
